Keystone Field Engineering Inc.is a field-based oil and gas consulting engineering and technical support company with offices in Drayton Valley and Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. We specialize in providing practical and efficient solutions for small to medium sized projects. We arecurrently searching for a Project Manager to join our team on a permanent or contract basis. Working out of the Drayton Valley Office, you will be responsible for managing and providing technical support to company projects as directed by the General Manager.
Define and manage project scope, quality of work, budgets and timelines that meet client approval·
Liaise with client, internal/external staff and authorities regarding all aspects of oil and gas projects.
Identify and manage required internal and external resources.
Work with project team to ensure technical integrity and designs align with company and client standards and specifications.
Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner, maintain effective relationships with existing clients and play an active role in expanding the company’s client base and work inventory.
Field work and a suitable field vehicle are required.
Work alone while completing site visits, scoping projects and as-building.
Read, understand and redline engineered drawings.
Strong understanding of upstream oil and gas facility operations and process is required.
Experience with project design, management and oil field facility construction, with demonstrated “lead” functions and responsibilities is desirable.
Facility construction knowledge and/or experience (piping, equipment, structural) is an asset.
Pivotal in planning, organizing, and controlling a project to meet and exceed expectations
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Well organized, detail oriented with proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
Knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards (B31.3, CSA Z662, OH&S codes), AER and other related government regulations would be an asset.
Strong computer skills with proficiency using Microsoft products are required.
Engineering and/or technical background would be an asset.
